About Us

Welcome to Estrella Early Education Center, a warm and caring school community in Los Angeles. At Estrella EEC, we provide a high-quality early education experience that prepares children for success in school and in life. We are the first step on each student’s journey to becoming college-prepared and career-ready, and we honor the diverse needs, languages, and cultures of our students, families, staff, and community.

 

Our instructional program builds strong literacy and thinking skills through rich experiences in oral language, listening, speaking, pre-writing, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, comprehension, critical thinking, and problem solving. Children become self-directed and confident learners as they participate in a thoughtfully planned indoor and outdoor program. We believe every child has the right to learn in a developmentally appropriate, challenging environment with high expectations for success.

 

At Estrella EEC, each child grows socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically in a safe, comfortable, nurturing setting. Using the California Department of Education’s Child Development Division assessment tool, the Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP-2025), our staff creates a personalized learning plan for every child that supports growth across key developmental domains.

 

Family partnership is at the heart of our work. We recognize parents as their child’s first and most important teacher, and we value the strong connection between home and school.
